PRINTMAKING WITHOUT A PRESS
One day workshop
10am - 4pm
Workshops can be run any Monday through to Thursday, contact me to arrange a date. Discovering Printmaking is a great introduction to the very exciting and versatile technique that is relief printmaking.

This is a step-by-step workshop in creating prints without a press, for beginners and those with some experience, however, no formal art training is necessary.

Bold and colourful prints are the order of the day with this workshop. Working with specialist tools and easy to cut lino or plywood, you will learn all you need to know to produce colour prints of two or three colours, using either print registration or the reduction method. You will learn how to equip yourself technically, so that you're in control of your printmaking, and you'll be able to explore the medium's potential freely.

Areas covered will include design and cutting, texture and mark-making, reduction printmaking, multi-coloured prints and registration.
